About Intentional AI

AI creates potential.
People are the ones who make it useful.

We are a consulting and training practice built around a single problem: the distance between having AI and getting value from it.

Most organisations have already crossed the first hurdle - the licences are bought, the tools are switched on, the pilots are funded.
What follows is quieter and harder.

People are left to work out where AI belongs in their own role, with no shared standard for what good looks like and no clear sense of when the answer is to close the tool and think instead.

That's where Intentional AI comes in.

Where this comes from

Fifteen years of making change actually land.

We have spent more than fifteen years working across business and technology transformation. That experience spans enterprise platforms, AI governance, enablement, adoption and the practical work required to move from an idea to an accountable outcome.

We have worked across financial services, retail, insurance, media, technology, the public sector and higher education - both within global technology organisations and alongside the teams expected to make change work in practice.

Technology creates potential. People, decisions and ways of working determine whether that potential becomes useful.

Our focus now?
IntentionalAI.

Making better choices about where AI belongs. Building the capability to apply it well. Creating the conditions for adoption and value that last.

The consistent lesson from fifteen years of transformation work is that the technology is rarely the hard part. Tools arrive, licences get issued, pilots get funded. What decides the outcome is whether people know where the tool helps, whether the workflow actually changed, and whether anyone is still working that way three months later.

That is the entire remit of this practice. Not AI for its own sake - AI where it earns its place.

How we work

  • We start with the work, not the tool. Every engagement begins with the tasks, decisions and workflows your teams deal with, not with a product roadmap.
  • We are platform-honest. We train on the tools you have already invested in, and we will tell you where AI is not the right answer.
  • We pitch at the right depth. Enough technical grounding to build real judgement, without turning your teams into engineers.
  • We take governance seriously. Responsible use, data handling and human oversight are part of the training, not a disclaimer at the end.
  • We design for what happens afterwards. Capability that fades in a fortnight was never capability. We define the behaviours that should outlast the session, and we check.
  • We work with non-technical audiences by default. Confidence and clarity come before features, every time.

Where we have worked

Sectors we know
from the inside.

Sector context matters more than most training providers admit. The constraints an insurer works under are not the constraints a university works under, and the training should not pretend otherwise.

What people say afterwards

Feedback from
the room.

The measure that matters is not whether a session went well. It is whether anything changed once people went back to their desks.

This session really opened our eyes into what we are missing when using Copilot. Instead of just summarising meetings, we have seen opportunities to do a whole lot more.

Director, Financial Services

Understanding how I can structure my projects so I can automate communication has been a game changer for us.

Programme Manager, Technology Transformation

Thank you so much. This is genuinely going to be a lifesaver. I can now find the time to add that additional bit of value to my projects.
